Wokay!... got myself a BSNL Prepaid... the number is 94420 78098 . I am putting this up here for everyone's benefit. It should (hopefully) get activated latest by 10am tomorrow. In any case - try my old number - if that's not reachable then try this one!. If thats not reachable either .. well.. then blow us a kiss in the general direction of the hills & head back home!!

JK, Can do Salem - it's just about 20km more [as per the maps] if I come towards Salem instead of Mettur. Let me know if you want a ride.

COndor - Will NOT recommend you from taking the Salem route (IF you are NOT picking up JK that is)... there is lots of four laning happenning between Salem and Coimby - its sheer chaos..Turn right from Thoppur - and come the Mettur - Bhavani route... believe me you'll reach here a happy man!

Here is the route to anaiketti in case some one drops in late

Coimbatore

1. Ask for GCT college, Tadagam road. This is parallel to metupalayam road, D.B road
2. Continue towards tadagam. Take the left fork when you reach a v-junction
Ask for anaiketti.
3. You'll come across a check post pretty soon. Hills start from here. Keep going straight. At a junction take the left.
4. Just before anaiketti town a road climbs to the left. There will be a board saying "Tribal boys Hostel"
Take that road and keep coming straight.

If you miss the road, you'll reach anaiketti town. Take a U-Turn and come back. Take the first right.

5. You'll reach teh river. Cross the river and you'll end up at the farms gate.

Harrie, thats some superb direction details. Will write them down. If we cant get there on time condor, c3po, tadu (maybe) and myself shall see you guys directly at the farm.

KB you are right, we will take the thoppur-mettur-bhavani route if we have to skip Jk. I just came two weeks back from that route. Roads are pretty good.

So guys!

I am ready to leave home early morning tomorrow! Me, ArtofZen, Mansidea, Aha!, Hydrashok and Nikkibike leave together from Cochin in 2 cars.
Sreejups and his friend will come later.

Condor and V1p3r will leave at 4am from Bangalore. Stumpy and Tadu will leave Hosur by around 6:30am.

Steeroid will meet us at Coimbatore by 10am.

Jkdas will reach Coimby with Condor.

Quicksilver, Harrie, Charan, Mohit and KB100 will welcome us at Coimby CCD.

Dropouts are always welcome to reconsider!

Just got back home after a bone jarring drive thru Gudalur, Nilambur...took abt 5 hours more than normal and my poor brand new tyres must be badly lacerated.

SOMEONE give me a wake up call @ 7 am....am 56 kms from Palghat and need to check my cars undercarriage first thing tomorrow before I start.
