Good grief! Mornings really don't suit me. I think I should be photoshopped out of those pics

I've been to million xBhp & several HVK team meet in last 5 years, but this is my first TBhp meet & the number of people turned out was also great. I will dedicate this completely to @phamilyman. If it weren't you, I'm sure this meet would've not happened, the number of turn out will not be this big & like you, this will be etched in my memory for ever

Thank you sir!!

I guess, we should all continue to meet once in a while & continue with the tradition set by @phamilyman

And you noticed the biggest irony? Our friend, who hails from the land of that invented full pants is wearing dhothi, which were invented by us & we're all wearing full pants & we all hail from the land that invented dhothi

Is this what is called Globalization?

It's called being comfortable!

Although it has more serious roots as the "uniform" of my music-student days, it developed into one of my idiosyncrasies. But, yes, it does suit the climate, and a lot of local-born people have forgotten that.

ps... that's my Polo in the background. I told Mrs G that our cars were having a meetup, and mine would be sobbing that all the others have loving, attentive owners that clean and polish them every week.

It suits you nicely, I must say; you look like a typical Madras uncle doing the December music circuit! I must compliment you for the ease with which you wear it.

We have not forgotten it, it is what I wear the moment I return home, and on occasions like temple visits and weddings when one needs to be traditional. Also, one needs to travel in a car while wearing it. Not practical for riding bikes.

100% agree with you; if I were to come by car, I would've worn the same, just that mine is Khadar make & not white one. Something similar to this is what is my daily wear & sometimes outside too

Nice to hear that .

Pujaris do ok on their bikes, angavestram's flying in the wind --- but it is hardly proper safety gear!

At first, I was concerned that it might get twisted around my ankles. Now, after so many years, I don't even think about it. If you see me in trousers, I'm on my way to the airport. That will happen in July. I will not be wearing a vesti in London! Well, not outdoors, at least.

May be they think their rituals will help them on the road :(

Haha...that can be done only over there; here anything can happen; for instance, the dogs in the street can chase us & from there on its the mercy of the dogs

The time spent in the car park at the end of forum meets is always good. One gets to meet the people who were out of earshot.

I think they actually do yes. Faith may move mountains, but it does not protect against accidents. I was impressed with your biking gear: it is so unusual to see anyone here wearing anything special for biking.

Sir, the feeling is mutual; I am always humbled & have respect on your response in the forum & it was more like a dream come true when I had met you yesterday. Looking forward to further meets to learn more from you

I think we all owe a big Thanks to phamilyman for organizing this meet

Wonderful turnout in there! Hope I can make it to the next meet. Was pretty busy with some long pending works over the weekend.

BTW, no photo-shoot of the cars

Thank you for the kind words, aargee.

Sadly, no. I think they were scattered around the car park, which was busier than I have ever known it before.
