Damn.... y'all are planning some nice meet's and I'm no longer in Chennai.

Nice pictures from the previous meet; with all the bhpians with there rides.

If you're going to Pondicherry, you could also consider Gingee Fort, in Villupuram district. That's if you're into a little exploring, and a light trek. You'd get some nice pictures too.

I was to go there, and twice for different reasons it didn't materialize. In Nov 2010 there was a storm, and Gingee fort was closed. So just drove back from Pondicherry to Chennai directly, without the planned stop/afternoon at Gingee Fort. The next time around which was in 2011, I didn't take my car, and my friends Punto had a clutch related problem, so the plans for day 2 were axed. We just managed to putter our way back to Chennai. Oh well, sometime in the future I guess.

It seems like a slim attendance for this Saturday. I will travel to Pondy nonetheless, the beast needs to stretch its legs. I will start around 9AM - skip Alamparai - have pizza at Tanto's or someplace and drive back by 5PM.

But, you could do it again. Expect a good 40-50 BHPians to attend the meet in total.
