Hi guys,

I'm in Pondicherry and I'm not allowed out of pondi trips as my exams are coming up. But if any of you guys are down here for the weekend, I can suggest good places to eat and generally have a good time gastronomically. I'm yet to participate in a proper Tbhp meet and just saw your mahabs meet up plan, which I was promptly told not to leave town by my better half. So, anyway, if anyone is planning a pondi trip, do let me know if I can be of any assistance.

Doc, please tell us the good places to have a good gastronomic experience in Pondicherry. We may well plan another Chennai Meet in Pondi - at least as a gastronomic expedition.

The list is quite expansive. If you could narrow down you choices by cuisine, meat eaters, and time of the day you are planning on having the eat-meet, it'll be easier to list the places.

My personal tip is the dinner time is great at pondi, you have lot of French cuisine places to hop in at. And if you could gimme a approx date you guys are planning, I'd be more than happy to join if I can.

Dear Mr. Tilt,
Thank you so much for the invite. The Pondicherry meet thread actually caught my eye right when our dear Sudarshan started it, but I'm not sure I'll be in town on those dates, that's why I never actively pinged on it. In case my other plans work out much earlier than sept 16th, rest assured I'll be there to meet and greet all our bhpians, and most definitely will join you guys for the food stops all over town. I do feel bad in missing out the crowd and also, the veritable collection of drivers' cars coming down ( Robi's TSI, the beemer, the abarth to name a few..) but the personal commitments on those days were planned much earlier and cannot be avoided.
