How about a ferry party off the Gateway of India ? Start at 9-9.30 and back by midnight - BYOB too. Food will be arranged for by the crew !

Seriously, while I like the idea, the time constraints might make it inconvenient for many to attend. We usually have people walking in till late.

Good idea. Music, food and drinks!! We had done similar party for Rotary Club, will ask if interested.
Only problem is no one will be able to join in late or leave early. We cant throw them off the boat.

How about a meetup outside Bombay? There is an option to have this with the beautiful backdrop of the Sahyadris and the numerous post-monsoon waterfalls. People from Pune could join too!

Yes walking in late is out of the question, not unless they can walk on water.

Was thinking of the same, beautiful idea. DJ & boat and all things nice. Except for the drowning part. (not in the sea, however). All pun intended.

It will be safe to say that many guys from Pune will come to Bombay for the meet.

OK forget the boat. Let's think of better options.

As I was telling NC last night. It is OK for a group of guys to be locked up in a large room with bottles of alcohol thrown in. However this time some guys will have their partners. Plus there will be lady members present.

What time frame are we looking at may be I can offer some venues, however since these are clubs, decorum and discipline according to their timelines needs to be maintained.

I take it you haven't attended MM1 or MM2?

Of course this time the presense of lady members will hopefully have most people behaving themselves.

And lets stick to tradition and keep this in Mumbai - Pune members came last time and we'll be there this time as well - with bells on (and lifejackets if N_C's idea works out)

Late comers have an option as the organisers (boat owners) have a supplementary boat coming and going towards the shore and do allow late comers to join provided they have an invite.

What could be done is that they could hand over the cash to the organiser (boat owners) and they can be allowed on board. However gate crashers may join too. Some form of invite must be on hand to identify members. (first timers etc).
