The Autocar Show 2008 - Meet Thread report and pictures

The series of meets have begun! Yayyy!!
We had a small mini meet at Mahim, near the hotel I'm staying in.

Aditya, Irags, DheerajS, FordRocam and Yohan were present. Good yummy food, lots of exciting stories, unlimited vocabulary contributions and a brave contessa! It was all good.

More of these are expected to happen in the days to come.

Bring it on! Bombay, bring it on!

That was indeed Yohan from JBL, but, the car was mine. I had drinks (fresh lime soda for me) and starters with Ishan and Dheeraj, then we picked Zak from the airport, Jitu from Mahim station and then met Yohan. He got Zak checked in and all of us headed out for dinner. Don't know what time I got home. I know it was well past 2am.

I was SO planning to make it over! well next time i hope! btw people. please take LOADS of pictures as and when you guys do meet. which is about 24x7 for the next few days :P hehe. have fun boys! We're at BKC now. Chilling out at the nearest CCD.

Cyrus la virus is eating pizzas like he has never seen one before! Myself and Addy is having a big laugh watching him.

Oh god! After Pizzas, he is munching on sandwiches now.

Shshsh... Lots of micro minis and beautiful saree wrapped thingys around too.

It starts from tomorrow if I'm not mistaken? What's happening tonight? Something related to the show or one of your mini-meets...

4 souls(brraj/cmiuc/cmiuc's friend/me) from Bangalore driving down, we will get there some time on Saturday, depending on how much time we rust/rest on the way. Starting Friday night from Bangalore, around 10:30PM. Unfortunately, that is the time we will all get free.

And since we know nothing about Bombay roads, please do pick them up frantic calls which might come on your cell phones on Saturday.

And, any suggestions for hotels with clean sheets on the highway where we can freshen up, and maybe, catch some sleep?

Also, anybody else crazy enough to drive down from Bangalore?
