Sorry, my bad. 30th (SUNDAY) it is.

We can tenatively plan to leave after breakfast and arrive at about 10-11 am, start off immediately and return just after dusk.

EDIT: My friend has confirmed availability, his secretary will call up A S H V I N with rates etc. I need a rough count for food, and also a separate count of veggies as the food will comprise almost 100% of things that swim or crawl or walk. I'm veggie.

Remember - this is a boat, so you swim if you're late.

Houseboat needs to be booked ASAP. Deadline for confirmation by 8am tomorrow.please include number of guests you're bringing. 20places max unless we get a bigger boat.

The houseboat is quoted at Rs.4,000 for the period of use + extra for food per head (since they are meant for families and small groups - they will have to charge our group extra).

Steer, talked to him just now and these are the details :

In the evenings, they have to wind up by 6PM because fishermen put out their nets and the boats could damage them. So timing would be 11:30 to 6PM.

1) A new boat with upper deck : Rs5000 (only boat rent).
2) A boat with lengthier living area, but no upper deck : Rs6000 (rent only)

Food would be Rs300 per person and includes :
1) Welcome drink
2) Lunch - chicken and fish with rice, roti etc
3) Evening tea and snacks

I have given rippergeo his phone number and you guys can call directly to confirm or discuss rates etc.

P.S. : I think you guys have got a more economical option @ Rs4000.

I am in as long as its a one day meet, can you guys please guide me on how early should i leave from Trichur to reach the place on time? I am not familiar with the roads, so i dont know how to make it.

When are guys form COK leaving? may be i can join your group and follow you along the routes.

Yeah we have Rs.4,000 and food at Rs.200 per head. Will try to include short-eats as well within Rs.200 and close the deal.

Guys please note that if you're on the list you're 100% in with no ifs and buts except for family emergencies and stuff - the plan is based on the confirmations.
