Do you mean this House boat cannot take more than 20 passengers on board? Or there're only 20 seats/chairs available?
Get a bigger one guys!
Even if there're less people, we can hire some good company in form of lap dancers/belly shakers etc..

The houseboat is a 2BHK (yes it has 2 bedrooms, a hall and a kitchen) and can accomodate about 14 people in good comfort, 20 with swalpa adjust maadi.

update!

just got a call from Mr Hari who is arranging the house boat. It seems that the cops/tourist police/authorities are carrying out raids on houseboats and checking how many people are on board. If they are carrying more people than their permit allows licenses get suspended. so the house boat we have planned for has a license to carry only 12 people. have asked him to find something bigger. so if anyone else has some leads, please let me know. thanks.

ask Hariannan to try and arrange anotherboat. Do the cops swim throuh the water to chekck how many are on board? I dont think they work so hard.

There're boats available which are permitted to carry 25+ people on board.

Thing is, its season time so the authorities know they can make that extra buck now. but I am on the lookout for a larger houseboat, so are a few other people. no worries

oh dear,Something is going on in kuttanad and i was keeping mum all these days.I cant believe it.The news about the cops are true and more over the boat guys would not permit any one on deck after 12 in night.It seems to be a drive for every one here but sad that its not so for me.hehe.but still lets make it a good one.Any support regarding house boat required?
