@KKRK2 and Cooldude, at Team BHP Hyd, you will not find any car and related advice, if it's about fun & frolic that you'd like to know, you have come to the right thread.

I thought you guys are pretty old hats not to know this small and unique aspect

What shall I say?? its part laziness part closeness with the hyd cug because of which I am posting it here.

PS: we are abusing the word CUG so much that it might be banned here.

One small correction. The discussion on cars is restricted to after the advice seeker lubricates the CUG with lubricant of right grade and quantity.

Only problem is that the advice gets so contradictory, complex and confusing that the advice seeker is literally by the end of it.

So looking forward to having you two broach the subject on 22nd.

Cheers,

If they do, do you think there would be any listeners or advice givers?

All the lubes will be taken care off. Anyways, folks I have finalized that my first car is going to be either Wagon-R Duo or Santro LPG. I have test driven the Wagon-R, yesterday night and boy! what a car it is to drive in the city. It is so drivable. I will test drive the Santro today.

BTW, of the both which one has better resale and better quality parts??

Tough question, Raj. Both are good cars. The Santro (not sure of lpg model) has better pick-up in lower gears, especially in city driving. The driver's seat is also better suited for long distance driving.

However, the Waggie has better ride quality (rear section especially), better brakes and a power steering that is better for city driving. It is also roomier, and has a larger boot space. It also has better headlights---Santro guys always drive on high-beam owing to poor headlights. A Waggie also has better bumpers---see how many Santro's have dented bumpers.

Per Indiacar, a Waggie has a better resale value.

One unique feature that tilted the favour for a Waggie when I wanted to buy one was the reclining rear seats in a Waggie. They could also be folded (one or both) to accomodate larger luggage. I am not sure if that feature exists in recent models.
