Update :

I spoke to King and Cardinal Bakery and he was ready to make fresh burgers/rolls/sandwiches/cookies the same morning. But, promised to give it by 9:30AM.

Also, IMO, this adhoc request of someone wanting a burger or a roll or sandwich wont work

Lets go with following items for each person as its easier to keep track and order. Food wont be wasted, as there is no such thing as extra food.

1 Burger
1 Roll
1 Sandwich
Common Items : Potato Chips, Soda, Cookies

It'd be simple to place a order only for confirmed names. You just need to confirm if its veg or non-veg.

NOTE: - Confirm if you'll like me to place an order as it has to be done latest by Friday evening with full payment.

Who is volunteering for beverage pick-up?

That was exactly what I had in mind. Pick up the same thing for everybody - only choice being V / N.V. One cannot be running an ala-carte service. Fixed menu. Everyone eats what is there. Let us also share the cost equally per-head irrespective of V / NV that way we will not to open a spread sheet! All those who do not confirm by tomorrow (Thursday) evenging get put down for veg. by default. Let us order for about 5 ppl extra as our drives are known to attract last minute participation. If those last minute additions do not turn up - all of us have expandable stomachs!

Thanks for the offer Ani. But, after some thought, i recommend everyone who is interested in beverages should get their own stuff since it will be closed on Sunday (GHMC Elections)

Again same funda, catering to varied interest/needs is tough. What say guys?

Been following this thread and monitoring its progress in tandem with my health :-) .

I shall say " Aye " as and when the date gets closer and feel that my legs can take the strain .

I also suggest the Hydies ( Specially Avi and Ravvs ) to trot into the latest B'lore meet thread and give them a few tips . Organizing a meet seems like rocket science taught in an unknown language to them folks!!

You bet. I did that long time back. Everyone seems to be only " Suggesting" and not taking an initiative like we do here.

Hyderabad meets begins with a confirmation count-down straightaway and it keep ticking like an atom bomb till it finally explodes on the meet (D) day

Well, don't you have an Exide dealer close to your house?

Apart from that, there is an Amron dealer opp your office.

Welcome back Arun! Nice to see you back in action on your keyboard. If you do feel up to the outing on Sunday, give one of us a call and a pick-up & drop can be arranged.

I did check that thread because of its catchy title about it being "happening" etc. It re-confirmed my opinion that B'lore is all hype and humps. Hydeez on the other hand have no pretensions about being "happening" or anything else and just get out and have fun. I still remember that mid-way meet that fizzled out.

Stick with Amaron, I have bought 4 of them so far (for 4 different cars) and they have never ever given me cause for complaint. I do take the precaution of buying a slightly higher spec. than the OE.

@ Mobike & MC: Thumps up should be picked up as part of the food service. I suggest each member carry enough water to drink wash etc. All other necessities of life are strictly 'that that man, that that carry'.

Cheers,

This is the best thing to do, Irrespective of veg and non-veg, everyone will contribute the same amount and if possible, can the price per person be displayed the day before the meet? i.e. on 21st.

Ther exide dealer next to my house is actually absolutely useless. But where is the Amaron dealer?

Even though I have Amaron on the bolero and 800, I don't want to spend 2k extra for a car that only runs intermittently.
