2. My passenger window every 2-3 days comes up with grease on the window pane. Will lose my rather expensive sunfilm if I keep applying those solvents to remove the grease. |

3. Very fast discharge of battery on the key? not that I keep it pressed - twice it has been changed by service center. |

5. The mudflaps at the back - one of them has started cracking and the other one is getting chipped. It goes offroad but I am careful - dont know what has been causing this damage. will they replace under warranty?:) anyone knows any other more "flexible" and robust options than the default. |

Love the self heal tech the scorpio comes with! Today morning approx 4.30 am i drove to the airport & the car was behaving fine. On the way back, the ABS light & Handbrake light started glowing. i switched off the car for 2 mins & then started the car again, the light went off but only for a minute! i parked the car, checked the brake fluid, pumped the brakes & everything seemed normal. since i had relatives in my car who were tired after a long journey (and also since i knew the ABS light has a tendency to glow on its own whims & fancies), i decided to drive the car home at a slow speed. even after reaching home, the light dint go off. did some high speed braking (from 50-60kmph) & ABS was kicking, so the functioning is proper atleast. then after an hour or so, while i was talking to the mahindra A.S.S, the lights went off! now the car is running fine, so i love this "self heal" tech mahindra has incorporated in the scorpio... not even mercs & BMWs have this feature! |

I must admin, I am also a victim/beneficiary of Scorpios 'Self Heal System'. One moring, i was taking a trip and the TPMS monitor started to go crazy saying one of the tyres was low on air. I went and checked all round and all tires were fine. This annoying thing kept going on for 30 minutes and I had to keep using the switch in the console to shut of the really annoying beeping. Finally after 30 minutes the 'Self Heal System' inflated the tyres to the correct pressure and the warning beep went away. |

LOL. Totally agree. TPMS and MicroHybrid have a mind of their own. So do the rain sensing wipers. Intelligent car, I must say, with occasional flashes of idiocy. |

To hell with Mahindra's self heal! Sent the car to the A.S.S today as yesterday evening the ABS light started blinking intermittently. i dint want to take chances & my decision proved right. The technician connected the OBD to my car & found a broken link to the rear sensor. He found out that one wire was split & that was the cause of the ABS light. He replaced the entire wire. Cost: Rear Sensor PIGTAI (god knows what that means) : Rs. 224/- Labour charge : Rs. 300/- (Funny that the labour charge is more than the cost of the kit itself!) Total: Rs. 580/- |

Guys, do these guys need to remove the dashboard to check the ABS using OBD? i am feeling the throw of air from the AC vents have drastically reduced after my car has arrived from the A.S.S., so i plan to send my car back to the A.S.S to get this checked. maybe they have not clipped the vents properly & air is leaking somewhere. Also, i have noticed a sudden improvement in the engine performance, as in the driveability & acceleration has increased tremendously. the engine feels super responsive now! the guys have done nothing to the engine. my friend says since they connected the OBD to check the ABS issue, they must have reset all the ECU errors & hence the performance benefit. is this true? if it is, i would like to get my car's ECU reset every year as the result is simply superb! i am loving the car more now! |

Hi, my car is out of warranty as i have not opted for extended warranty. you can say, i trust mahindra & its product's reliability. I felt spending 11k on EW is too much! Lets see whether that was a good decision! |

Originally, the leaf spring set of the Scorpio consists of 5 leaves. FNG suggested me to add one more leaf between 2 & 3 to increase support. I did that and after that undertook a 3000 Km trip to Leh & back. My scorp held steady on hairpin bends, jumped over boulders without bobbing and the rear seat passengers didn't bang their head on the roof. |
