carbon fiber trim- Yes it extends to the doors bot not full length, I will post the pictures.
Seat height- I just removed the Cushion alone and added 4 spacers of same dimention. There won't be any change in angle and visible we won't see any difference.
Service- Geeyem Motors, nettur, kochi and I asked them for the next day but they told me that minimum 3 days period is required.
I am from EKM (Mulanthuruthy), and you?
Thanks Topolino, Happy that you liked the Alloys and ice. Yes I had used Spacers for all 4 Bolts, else it would be of no use.
A pic with the front doors wide open will give an idea about the trim. Is it made by Autographix?
Please give a hint on how to remove the seat cushion - I just want to try it myself. Is it press fit type?
Recently I saw one more Geeyem showroom at Muttam(between Kalamassery and Aluva) in NH47. It was a new showroom, not sure if they have started Service there. Anyway for you Nettur is near by.
BTW I am from Chengamanad, near Aluva, but settled in Bangalore.

I will upload the picture of the trim tomorrow and I don't know the make, The trim was available with the dealer and costed around 1600.
All the showrooms in Ekm are of Geeyem motors and they have service only in Nettur, their kerala HO.

About the spacers

Just look under the drivers seat(a torch will be handy) and you can see 4 m8 bolts and nuts in the 4 corners of the seat. Just remove the nuts and pull the seat upward(it will be tight but no issues it will come off safely). below is my design, sorry no autocad(laptop is down).

@b_ambat,
Congrats on your white SkiDs boy!!!
Great choice of car! wish you millions of happy miles ahead
I've fallen prey to your touch screen HU and the alloys.
I've always been a fan of 5 spokes and this design is brilliant!!

Nice ride mate!

about the seats,
are these the mounting holes you are referring to in your sketch??
(i had clicked this pic when the seats were removed for the seat cover installation)

Thanks Auto freak and great choice of coulor mate(red is stunner and eye catcher), I checked your gallery and are you using OE alloys?
Your photos are cool

Exactly, the spacer will come between the seat and the mounting. my spacer is tightened to the seat first and then fixed to the mounting.

@salbin and Auto freak

The following images together will give an idea about the spacer location. Again thanks to Auto freak for the mounting photo.

Of-course the difference is huge, 3mm increase is maximum in my opinion. It increases comfort level, road view(it was my greatest surprise and the difference is huge) and confidence.

Re: Skids With Diesel Energy: Chevrolet Beat LS

b_ambat,
Thanks for the details on spacer. I too will soon install 30 mm spacers. I am sure it will not only provide good underthigh support but will also improve driving position and confidence in squeezing car in tight spots. I have only one concern, the interior rear view mirror may hamper the view on cross roads and turns. Do you face such problem.

I haven't had any problem with interior rear view mirror, I never had noticed that sine I always check all 3 mirrors and it has become a habit and I never know which one I use most frequent.

The spacers can only be machined and I don't think they are available in the market as they are of custom dimension and the drawing I provided is from my experience(that is the easiest and safest way). Better find a lathe workshop and provide them the drawing or tell them the exact requirement and it can be machined from blank of any diameter larger than 10mm.

Hi karizma_devil, I my opinion Beat D is a practical and VFM choice and a good city cruiser but choosing the car will depend on your driving style. If you love cruising in speeds higher than 120, then you should look for other options. Test drive it again and again, until you are sure.

I just sold my Palio 1.6 S 10 .
I dont expect a rubber burner , but is 100km/hr cruising in highways a problem ? Hows over taking ?
