I saw an advert in today's TOI Bangalore Times saying Nano Twist is available for 1.99L ex showroom, down from 2.45L. You may want to check it out.

Yes. The best quote i have got is for 2.35 on-road from Aadya. This is roughly the price that people got in Sep and Oct 2014 as well so wondering what happened to the big year-end discounts.

The sales guys have been telling me that the only change in the 2015 model would be a AMT model and the Twist will be retained as is. Been a dilemma whether to wait or go ahead

I took the Nano Twist delivery in October, and it cost me nearly 2.45 on-road. So, this offer of 2.35 on-road form Aadya is really the best. Though do the PDI since i think its unlikely you would be getting any less in December time unless the dealers have piled up Twist in 100's.

One of my faculties in College got her Twist for 2.35L. They offer she got was 30k off by some Exchange bonus with some other cars RC and then a few thousand rupees off. The On-road actually comes to Rs 2.7 so yeah, she got 35k off on the Twist.

I'm waiting eagerly for the AMT too. TM has not been very clear on the proposed launch date of Nano AMT.

Re: Tata Nano Twist XT : Driven

Seems Tata is doing it right with the "Damson Purple" color, even my wife opted the same and I did not dare suggest any other thing

The advantage of blue twist was that it comes with Black interiors for the seats unlike the light beige in others. I should be buying new seat covers as missed them during the buy time. Also, I am taking the Twist out on a long drive to Tirumala (Tirupati) the coming weekend and follow it up with the first service. Yes, it will be a pain to be driving at 60 or less speed on to-and-fro 500 km journey, but it was decided that way even before it was brought, so no compromises there

The Nano can comfortably maintain 80 to 90 km/h on level roads. I did the journey between Blr and Mysore once. My Nano had no trouble but the journey was tiring because of the engine noise. I have a 2011 model so it's noisier. At those speeds, the mileage wasn't great - I got an average of around 17 km/l.

The NANO is comfortable at 70-80kmph range. A speed not that slow on typical indian highway scenario.

I think, he said 60 or less because the car is new and needs to be run in.

Re: Tata Nano Twist XT : Driven

Got some contacts in TML to confirm that the Nano AMT will be launched in March-April. He did not comment on the price points.
I was planning to buy the K10 AMT for my wife but will now delay the decision till April and decide based on what TML has to offer.
