I will certainly enquire about the PAIN sealant for you buddy.

Btw, I see that you own the Xcent AT too. Hows the car meeting your expectations? What Fuel Economy have you been able to achieve on it?

UPDATE:

Red beauty comes home – Our Hyundai Xcent AT SX(O)-image.jpg

Here is a pic of my car that has just landed at the Hyundai Stockyard. Myself and Brother went for an inspection of the same and we're happy with its condition. We are getting an Underbody Anti Rust Coating done as well.

Delivery next week

Re: Red beauty comes home – Our Hyundai Xcent AT SX(O)

UPDATE:
My "Red beauty" has officially made its way to my Home.

Had a good buying experience I would say. Since, I had the TeamBHP PDI checklist, it was a breeze to get things done and get everything clarified with the Salesperson. However, there is a delay in getting the Number and the Number Plate. Although the taxes have been paid, we had requested for a number that adds up to Number 9 or its multiples. Today being RTO holiday and the current series doesnt have any left, this is expected to be done in the next couple of days.

Freebies:
My Cousin knows one of the Sales Managers at Advaith. Through him, we could get the Seat Covers for free. These were fitted beforehand. Apart from this, the usual floor mats and ganesh idol came along as standard accessory. Rs. 5000 discount was also given as per the April Month offer.

Photos to be uploaded soon. If you happen to see a Red Passion Xcent AT without a Number Plate being driven in the vicinity of HSR Layout, that could most likely be Me.

Yes the team-bhp PDI is very useful. Sometimes in the thrill of getting a new car one forgets a few basic pieces so this PDI becomes very useful.

Congratulations. I got mine too so if you happen to spot Twilight Blue AT in HSR, that would be mine

By the way- I am unable to access your ownership thread. I am hoping to put up my ownership thread within next 2 weeks or so.

Re: Red beauty comes home – Our Hyundai Xcent AT SX(O)

Hello folks

Been a while since the last update.

Nothing to report. Usual drive around town. The vehicle has been doing its duty. The next service was also done. Nothing to write home about. Good work by Trident.

Stay tuned.

Cheers

Re: Red beauty comes home – Our Hyundai Xcent AT SX(O)

Hello

Been out for a few weeks. The car dutifully started after more than 3 weeks of engine off.

Usual drive around and all uneventful.

I must say I have been seeing a lot more Xcents on the road now. The sales have settled at around 4200-4500 average. On the high side it went to 5500 and lower side it has touched 3200 per month also.

All in all I must say it has been great value for money.

Cheers

Re: Red beauty comes home – Our Hyundai Xcent AT SX(O)

Hi

Been a while since I updated. The vehicle has been sparsely driven. It is my wife's errand car.

I have also taken it around just a bit and it has been wonderful.

Took it out for service and Hyundai service people said its not due. I was under the impression that it would be once in 6 months but it is once in a year.

I see that the sales has now settled at a decent 4200-4600 numbers. I have started to see a lot more being used in cab segment also.

All in all - great value for money.

Cheers

Re: Red beauty comes home – Our Hyundai Xcent AT SX(O)

Congrats on the new car. Enjoy the ride and drive safe.
If u dont mind sharing what was the OTR price of this variant? I completely agree with you that the Xcent has next to zero body roll as i had driven it and found its handling better than the i20 ( I could be wrong).

Apologies for the late response.

I think we paid 8.8L - but its been a while. I could be wrong by a few thousands.

Yes its a lovely vehicle. An update coming up soon.

Re: Red beauty comes home – Our Hyundai Xcent AT SX(O)

Hello

Been a while since any update.

My wife ha now stated to use the care daily. She hired a driver and now goes to office in it. That translates to 55-60 kms daily.

The 3rd free service came. Approx 3200. The car was delivered at the promised time, no surprises. I realised that the 5th wheel is a steel and not a alloy. I may have known it, but since I don't drive this car much this piece of information seemed new to me.

The vehicle is regularly returning 425-450 for approx. 36-37 ltrs of fuel.

We are now considering art leather seat covers.

Stay tuned.

Cheers
