Thanks glvenubt11. Yes, I agree the battery life that I could extract from my car has been above average. If there are more start/stops per day, then obviously that drains out the battery juice pretty fast. Most of my drives have been daily office commutes starting the car only twice a day. I also don't switch off the engine, while waiting at red lights. Also, I always give the starter/ crank the engine with the clutch pedal fully pressed, which means the engine is dis-engaged from the transmission so less load on the battery and also helps improve the clutch life. After close to 10 years and 76K mileage I don't feel the need to do a clutch overhaul.
