My only concerns with S-cross is almost bench like seats with no contouring, inability to make comfortable seating by reclining front seats, and missing rear ac vents (on my delta variant). . |

Excellent review, I have rated 4 stars though. How are the brakes? Would appreciate more details. Also, would the various variants offer differences in the braking? |

Not sure what you mean by reclining front seats, as the front seat base has front / aft movement, the seat back has a lever for changing the angle of the seat back to any angle of your choice. There are no rear a/c vents in any variants of the car. The Ciaz does have it, but not s-cross. |

Why dont team-BHP reviews explasize on the braking as much as we do on other (even the smallest) things? |
A quick drive around your favourite road or highway will, however, immediately establish that this drivetrain is woefully inadequate for the splendid chassis and braking performance that the S-Cross has to offer. The car stops on a dime and without too much effort. The brake pedal itself feels progressive in its bite. The S-Cross behaves like no Maruti has before. |

All variants of S-Cross are equipped with ABS, all 4 discs and 215/60 R16 tyres. Braking should be same :) I have seen Team BHP mention about braking capabilities in almost all the reviews. I guess you missed out these lines. Quoting them. |

Given our reviews are so deep, I really want folks to cover this as well! |

S cross certainly seems to be a true VFM. But sales figures don't seem to be encouraging.. One hardly gets to see a S cross uplift on roads, especially in mumbai. :deadhorse |
