Duster has the soul of an SUV, but it ends there. Duster interiors are lackluster. Renault showroom and service experience is subpar. And with the facelift, Scross has a steady sale of about 3k units per month, which works in it's favor. Creta, whether it has a soul of SUV or not, is the top selling product. So bottom line is that having just the soul is not enough. People look for a package and both Scross and Creta deliver it.

I believe 3000+ numbers should be a steady figure for the S-Cross going forward.
The new car has broken the old 1500+ norm and seems to be doing quite well for the price range that it has been positioned in.

Captur is a big failure and with the new Duster some months away, 3K+ numbers look like the new norm.

The brakes are top notch. Only if the JK rubber would have been replaced by a better stock option.

Hello Friends

This is my first post and I am really happy to be a part of Team BHP. Shall try to contribute the maximum. In fact it is this forum which inspired me to cancel my Vitara Brezza booking and book the S-Cross Zeta.

The day has finally come and tomorrow morning the White Tiger would be mine. I am really excited to put my own review and share the pics with my fellow forum mates.

What I specifically want to ask you, people is the choice of leather covers which I should go for. The dealer has a range of covers starting from Rs. 6,600 to Rs. 20,000. Any idea as to what should I look for in the leather covers. The RM says that the Rs. 8,800 ones are reasonably good and Rs. 20,000 one are the same ones that are fitted in the Alpha Model.

Please help..

Hello RickyGupta, had checked regarding the seat covers here.

Both the 8.8K ones and the 20K ones are artificial leather. 20K one is essentially the same material used in Alpha. The design is different. I was also informed about genuine leather seat cover but that's pricey and they have done it for only one car here. That comes around 40k.

I am planning to check with couple of other seat cover vendors too

I went to get my car yesterday but luck didn't favour me. I completed all the insurance formalities and the car was undergoing PDI check. During the check, the specific piece encountered some problem and the dealer canceled the delivery. He is saying me that he is getting another car today so he may deliver today. I don't know how much of this is true but I am really disappointed.

Meanwhile, I think I will go with Rs. 20,000 seat covers. Anything above that seems out of the budget. Still, if anyone has a better suggestion please let me know.

I have fitted PU SCR with rear arm rest, cost Rs 11500. I find the seat covers fits perfectly and looks good as well. I also went for Alpha like leather steering cover (Rs 4500), illuminated door sill guard (Rs 3200), carpet mat and mud flaps. Nexa offered 10% discount on accessories cost.

Could you guys please post some photos of the installation. I have booked a Zeta and am wondering if I should put seat covers.

Congrats. I think you have made the best choice. The delivery period is expected to be this long but I got my car within 10 days. Try checking out with other dealers of the city. I booked from one and kept other two in the loop and one of them came up with the car. So I cancelled my booking and took spot delivery.
