Hi guys,
Bad news is that the car is still with the Service centre

Good news is that the problem has been identified and measures have been taken up to resolve it.

double check payment receipts

am writting this after experiencing that even reputed showrooms can stoop down to silly tricks to cheat.
i was adamantly told vista had no discounts ..... no freebiees , checked with 2 other show rooms from different cities in AP , got the same response .
i liked the car so much that never wanted to wait any longer to book, i was with a v2 dls for 7yrs, vista tdi was an absolute advanced extension of V2 tdi coming to the point ..........

they charged 11847 for reliance gen insurance
but gave a insurance receipt for 10554.....
charged me excess of 1300 or so ..

they quoted me 3 84 600 as ex show room price ....jan 15th 2009 price.
give a receipt on invoice for 3 82 200.
charged me excess of 2400.....

finance guys charged 3500 as service charge
and 3000 as stampduty i still dont know if that was fair.

on pulling up the hair over their ears ....... got an answer that car matting and mud flaps which costed 1100 and 250 were given as a compensation for insurance commission which they were getting , which they never stated before asking . initially gave those mats as though they were complimentatry.
refunded me 2500 which was collected in excess on exshowroom price.....

beware guys while collecting the insurance and invoice papers just match the payments done. and afap avoid buying expensive accessories from show rooms. if you do then double triple check the price.

You heard correct, however, the engine in the vista is also substantially tweaked.

It's also fitted with an intercooler. The taxi guys call it THANDA (COOL) ENGINE!
