Wow,

This is probably More Car Per Car.

Great Looks, Best Engine in its class, better Head room, Better Boot space, Better looking car, Neat Spine support lever for seats.

What more do you want.

Wish the fit and finish could have been a lil bit better, although TATA's have improved a lot with this Vista.

Stunning looks! Congratulations for the red beauty. My father-in-law is wavering between a Swift LDI and the Vista Quadrajet. Pushing him for latter :-)

If the design is modular, you can create separate LHS and RHS dashboards from the same panels without having to create two separate dashboards. Tata themselves have done that in the past - for the Sierra/Estate. It's not absolutely necessary to create a centrally mounted instrument consol for saving on the die costs.

i am not saying that it Cant be done-only that the centrally mounted console works out even cheaper than changing the dies.

Also, short drivers find centrally mounted instruments more convenient. Have you not seen people sitting on small cushions to get proper view of the road.

Finally got a chance to see the hyped vista. I
think interiors are depressing, bad ICE, lesser boot, bad plastics. I agree that engine, gearbox is too good but Tata has a long way to go.

Aha! So everything about that car is that bad, eh! When you say so, which different cars in that range are you exactly comparing it to, if I may ask so?

not like the V2. the seating part has to be folded against the front seat and then the backrest can be folded to the floor.

tough choice actually...advantages of vista - lesser price, more space, lower wait period, not so common place (as of now).

my wife used to do that while driving the V2. not any more.

Definitely, Vista is a improved version but when I compared with Palio, I found that fit 'n finish is not as good as palio. Vista certainly needs bright color seat covers. New set of speaker. At first look i felt "indica improved, its irresistable but palio is better"

Yes, Tata has a long way to go. But, if Tata does go that way, Fiat will go out of business. Think about it again!

Cool observations. But I have a few question though for you.

How much more inspiring and exciting are the interiors of say, Fiat Palio? Is the dashboard and IP super exciting? With NO ICE and MUCH Bigger boot??
