tyre dire !

im just wondering..if we upgrade 4 tyres to XM1+(185x70R14),could we keep one OE tyre (165/80 R14)..
2)thus can we use the latter in case of emergencies like a flat tyre or so?
2)can the same alloys used for XM1+ tyres be used for the OE ones for temporary situations?

@ ariendj, No we cant use OE165/80R14 on the alloys, the width of the wheel will be different, in case of a flat tyres i ll take my stock tyres with stock rims and use it for few kms thats it. i dont want 7.5k to stay idle in the boot of my car.

. Infact I have gone in for 4 only. To be on the safer side I have a tubeless tyre repair kit available handy in my gloves box.

Congratulations ,

Your spec for ICE and Red balck seat cover and choice 2 of Alloys is exactly same as I have put on my Black Safari so you know my choice.

A word of caution about alloys , Do not buy just based on design and advice of dealer , Check that the alloys matches the size and PCD / offset of stock rim of your car, Search on tyres and alloy wheen section of T-BHP else you will get headach of noise and wobble at high speed free along with shiny alloys. In case there is a mismatch do not go by words of the dealer that how there is no problem with 6 other customers who have fitted same alloy.

Invest in tubeless tyres if your car does not have them already.

Regards
Amit

@amitk26,that sounds great to find one who has similar choices.but indeed today i could'nt get the red i was trying for my seat cover so opted for beige black combo :(..still it does look cool.

@harry10,thanks for your opinion, that helps me indeed.

@hemanthisgreat,thanks for your opinion, will post the pics once the tyre stock arrives .

@ariendj,here you go - the prices:

ICE

HU - pioneer 5050UB - 6500
JBL GTO 608C comp - 4900x2
JBL A602 amp - 5350
JBL RC wiring kit - 2700 (main kit +3meter JBL wiring kit-extra)
Installation charges - 650
-------------
total ICE cost -25000
-------------
Review on the same :
As my requirement is to hear a pleasant music ,rich in detail. I am highly satisfied on the same. It wont be having that depth in the bass as that of a 6x9's or a Sub for that matter. but still it ll have enough to enjoy the song.the music is clear without any distortion.
Verdict - Only for people who dont love their ear drums being played heavily.

Courtesy -redfire and souljah for their valuable inputs about the above ICE setup.

ps:sorry couldnt take pics as i am coming late everyday, will post pics after snaping few tomo,thanks...
