Thanks to all of you. Will post a picture of the subwoofer and a higher angle to get the black top.

By the way I have finished the first service and they have solved all the problems that i had till now.

By the way i want to ask a thing.

The service engineer told me that the car cannot be locked from the passenger door . It can be done only from the driver door it seems. I cant digest that. Is this the case. please enlighten

for my indica turbo ( came with OEM central locking), after central locking the car using the driver side, you can open just the passenger side door using the key ( to get something from, say the glovebox). the passenger side unlocks/locks just that door , while the driver's side locks/unlocks everything

It will be a good idea to post what your problems in this thread too - just to keep this thread self-contained.

And also how they solved them - I mean repair / replacement / adjustment / etc.

I like the black and white combo and the Indica 10 years monogram.

Man. That is a beautiful car. Both exterior and interior looks cool. Can compete with any international brands. Congrats on your buy and for sharing your experience here

Last weekend when I went for a long drive, one anniversary edition vista was in my front for almost one hour or so cruising comfortably at speeds of 100 ks. Has good pick up too. It was fun watching this car zoom through the scenic highways.

congrats on the new awesome car babu . I checked the anniv. edition , i feel the steering is way too big and plasticky and the rear suspension intrusion in the boot reduces the space .Nevertheless good looks combined with alloy and blackroofs.

the interiors, black roof look very good but the chrome/golden bits look a bit out of place..

the INDICA 10 YEARS logo is also very impressive

Thanks to all you guys.

These are the things that was done in first service

The AC blower was making a sound - Changed the AC blower motor
The beading of right rear door was changed since it was not closing properly
The dickey lock was changed since it was not working with the key
Teflon coating was done
little bit of engine oil and brake fluid top ups were done

All in all a good service experience.

the people at the service centre were very helpful. They explained all the things. Was delighted by the service experience.

what is sold as a teflon coating is usually just a polish job. no better than what you can do with some solid wax yourself. I too was conned into buying this once, would suggest everyone else not to do the same !

Hello Baburaj,

Congratulations on your purchase. Like many others have said, I think the car looks fabulous, and is extremely good value without pre-conditions.

I have a couple of requests :

1. Like govigov has already asked a few posts back, could you please post some images of the Sansui powered subwoofer (I assume the model is BD-W1500A) ? If you've kept the device removable, could you please explain how this was done, and how easy it is to disconnect / remove the device ? Also, if you can, could you please let us know how much it costed you ?

2. Could you please post some images of the front and rear wheels, when facing the side of the car ? Just wanted to get an idea of how the new larger tyres fill the wheel wells. While you have mentioned that you've upgraded the tires to 195 series, were these tyres fitted when you took the pictures posted earlier ?

All the best and enjoy your 10th Anniversary Edition Vista !

Cheers,

FourWheelDrift

I must say that the car looks too good.
They should offer the white + Black roof in the normal variants too.

Congrats on the purchase. Do run it in properly.

Fantastic vehicle - congrats on your purchase!
Tata has loaded it with goodies all around.

The music system seems to be similar to the much advertised 'Blue & Me' one offered on the Linea Emotion Pack.
Fiat is offering it as an option on the top of the line Emotion costing Rs. 9+ Lacs and Tata is giving it on the Anniversary edition! What else can one ask for ? Real VFM.

The subwoofer is placed under the driver seat. it fits in perfectly there. Its also removable easily as its secured with velcro (what is the spelling - hell) bands. Doesnt move at all. And gives good thump. Very happy with the output till now

The service guys have screwed the tuning but. I think they removed the connection from the battery and that has reset the setting. Have to do this again.

But for 16 K this setup gives you amazing output. Mind you people I am not a guy who hears lot of heavy metal . My style is soft rock and songs that has good mid and low level frequencies.

Havent heard any heavy metal on the same but I am sure that it will be good
