Silver Streak Linea :)

Finally my car Linea MJD Emotion Pack Minimum Grey has been delivered on 14 March 2009.
Got Floor Mats & Mud Flaps(yet to come) as Freebie and got installed Solar Guard (ArmourCoat USA) Sunfilm Charcoal 38 and Front & Rear Sensors from Xenos.
Already completed 150 kms.I have not been facing any issues except some niggling problem in MediaPlayer till now.
Post the whole story and photos soon.

I had seen the silver Linea in the showroom when i went to check out the car, and liked it much more than the red. Good choice of color.

Congrats.

Do post your experience on the acceleration (pick up) in the initial gears, especially in city bumper to bumper driving

Yes as many said,Initial pickup is very sluggish.I too experienced while TD.
But it doesn't mean,it's tough in city bumper to bumper driving.
I have gone to so many palces with 7 people onboard. It never lugged. It swept all easily without any hurdles.
Once you crossed 1800RPM in 3rd gear the Linea is on her own.
Today morning while coming to office,i engaged 5th gear, the car is like driving in a cloud/Air.Very smooth and handling is very good.
I turned the car almost 70 Degree in 80Kmph speed.the car handled it as a dream.
I usually did it in my Old WagonR/Indica.it screamed like anything and we felt under/over steer.
The clutch is very light and ply is very long(whether it's good or bad).Driving it in Traffic is little bit cumbersome till you used to it.
already heard creaking noise from Steering Wheel and Front doors.need to fix asap.
Had some reading problem with MediaPlayer.i rectified myself.
I called Linea Helpline and they told, there's a lot of calls for the same issue especially Dashboard instruments. Moreover they will come to our place for fixation within 24 hrs once call is locked.
Seats prone to dirt very easily.kepping the seats seem to be very tough.
you can feel the steering rod rotation in your left foot(near to the clutch).
It has only 6 Speakers.2 Tweeters and 2 Speakers in Front and 2 Speakers in the rear tjough rear has provision for Tweeters.
But heard somewhere Linea has 8 Speakers. 2 Tweeters and 2 Speakers in Front & Rear.
Audio is not good enough .has lot of distortion if you increase the volume.
some of the plastics are very fragile.Especially the part below the steering wheel, where fuses are placed.Clips and joins are very cheap.
rest will come soon. Some Photos at the time of delivery.

Congrats Man..welcome to Linea Family.

Incidentally I got mine MJD E+ on 15th March. Worth waiting huh?

I want to confirm couple of things
1. Do you really get only one master Key and one spare slave key?
2. Did you get Extended Warranty and debit note at the time of delivery.
3. Music System warranty comes separate or is included in the FIAT's warranty?
