First Punto to be delivered on the forum? I think so. Congratulations and the car looks sweet in that grey shade. Do keep updating this thread with your ownership and service experience.

Drive safe.

Congrats man!!
THat is indeed a great car and I think that's the best colour available. I am also looking to buy the Punto(my first car) but the petrol version. I am waiting for the BOLD ones like you who put their money on it the fastest.

Please keep us posted about your experiences and if you find the guy who scratched the front please give him an earful from me too

All the best, and wish you thousands of kms of fun.

Congratulations on ur italian beauty. That color is really classy on punto.

I know you must be enjoying and not getting out of the car. But when you do, please take lil time to update us here.

Lot waiting eagerly.

Yup. Me neither. I just knew that it came with silver alloys. So did some basic maths. I was informed that the medium grey is darker than the minimal grey(which I had seen) and was close the color avl in ANHC. Since I was planning to put in 3M tints. So, it'd be silver-grey-black combo. The rest I left on imagination.

lol
Well have been running around for something else

As mentioned before, my longest stint with a car was with an Amby.
However,I have hopped around in my friend's Spark(which I had managed to push till 160 on NICE Road). I would say that the stability of the GP is something I really enjoy. The traffic slaloms do not feel scary nor do they remind me of what I had for lunch!!
Have not pushed it beyond 2k much(I should not be doing it ideally), but whenever I did so, the response was prompt. The turbo kick not as prominent as in the suzukis but it is there.
I am rather enjoying the curious looks and puttering around slowly.
No major issues as of now.

Ohh! White is always my first love

Get the white car, paint the alloys black/get black alloys.Get dark tints all over and plonk on a set of skirts all over. The GC is quite good and u can easily fit that on.
Now close your eyes and imagine your beauty.
Just in case you have any doubts, go to the settings for and of the later NFS games and customise a GP for the view

400 km report

Yup! 400kms done!!

Just got back from a short trip to the base of Nandi Hills.

The highway jaunt was definitely fun.

Drag racers, please stay away from me. This is definitely not a car for people who like to stretch their legs on a piece of open road. You dont put the pedal to the metal and expect wonder. But then again, when u are behind the wheels of this wonder, you might not want to do that!

As repeated earlier, 1-2 are short.Good enough for city jaunts, but for highway, definitely short.3 is good, 4 is some fun and 5 is pure nirvana.
5th gear @ 1800 rpm sees the speedo cross 80..remember, the turbo is yet to kick in.
@2200 rpm u hit the century mark.
Decided to push it a lil bit more. @3300-3400 touched 140 easy. No howls from the mill.nothing at all. Blame Beethoven playing on my system for the madness.

Hit the highway, play a good classical track and slot it into 5th. All you hear is music. Not a sound from the mill. and the car still rolls on. Its very difficult to believe that I was driving close to the century mark.

All those who are familiar with Nandi Hill road are aware of the zillions of speedbreakers on the road. Well, I drove over them @40-60 over most of them.Hardly felt a thing!!It soaks up the potholes better than a thirsty dog on a midsummer noon.
The two things that got me off the i20 was the suspension and the steering and boy am I glad now!

Minor hiccups with the rear left door. The lock is a bit too tight for some people's liking. A lil oiling would solve that.
The glovebox lock also might need a lookie. But other than that, it has been an absolutely hassle free experience till now.

The cherry on the cake..
A thumbs-up from a palio owner near Mekhri circle..was it any of the Bhpians??

well, thats exactly what i had in mind, infact i even have a wallpaper of a similar Abarth Punto, but then again, after spending 7.3L, not sure if I can spend another 30-40 more. :(
