Nice report

Thanks Aqualeo, the 400 Km report was a wonderfully written piece and gives an insight into the running of the car. When is your car due for its 1st service? Please do keep us posted.

Cheers,

urgent Query

Friends, I have an urgent query here.

I have the option of 3M and Llumar tints.
The dealer provides Llumar and a known garage will supply 3M.

I guess 3M is slightly better than Llumar. But is it too much of a trade off??

Can anyone help please!!

AFAIK, both are almost the same in effectiveness. My suggestion would be to choose whichever is cheaper for the windows & rear windshield, and if your budget permits, go for V-Kool 70 [clear film] for the front windshield. This will really reduce AC usage in your car.

One more suggestion - postpone the filming till the rains are over, say maybe upto October. The warmer the weather, the quicker and better the filming process will be. The humidity and reduced temperatures in the monsoon season will sometimes cause the film to not stick properly to the glass, and will lead to wrinkling.

Cheers,
Vikram

I went for the Llumar one. The platinum Series. Costed me 4500 Bucks for all the windows except the front one. Got 5 years warranty too.

A short trip :)

The odo reads 535 kms.

Woke up in the morning. Ran from Star Bazaar to Big Bazaar and finally to Total mall where I found some car care kit !!
Came back, gave my babe a good wash and off I went for some house hunting.
Boy is it a tiring activity!!
Anyways, by the time me and my best pal had seen couple of places that we liked, the sky grew darker and precious droplets descended upon us!
Of course. It was the apt time for a drive. So off we went towards Bannerghatta. The road was good-ok-pathetic-fine.
Have already punished my suspension enough. My point is to get all creaks out after the first service. However, no matter hot pig the pothole is, the gal juz swallows it!!
And yeah, all the plastic parts are intact.Seems like they enjoy my abuse.

I generally frequent that place with my biker gang. So, its obviously a secret place (I can take you there tho).
By next month this time, the path to our hangout gets covered with clouds. The clouds were still there now, but they were a bit far off.
parked my baby. Saw a family of elephants.Listened to all kinds of birds singing in harmony. Felt the cool moist breeze.Got busy with our cell cams.

P.S : Saw a Red Punto near Sagar Appollo. Any one of us??

Really Long report??

No idea man. I am too smitten right now to find faults. But not that I did not try to find any.Except for the rear left door lock being a bit stiff(for which I need to pay a small visit to the workshop), nothin else has been a issue yet.
Moreover, the ride and handling has enamored me.It was fun seeing a Civic trying to take a man-sized hump while i just coasted over it .
In spite of visiting some really must-avoid roads, I am yet to scrape my belly or bottom out my suspension. It just rolls on like a juggernaut.

Overtaking is fun.But needs to be done carefully( need to be in the powerband). But my experiences with a high revving Yamaha has taught me enough lessons, so the transition was really smooth.
Seeing a temp regn, some people have tried to bully me. But oh well, they realised soon whom the joke was on!!

Is there anyone on the forum who has bought it and not happy with it?
I guess what the say is right. Fiat owners never complain about their ride.
