I'm sure its because of the leather covers. If your headrest was stuck then it would have been impossible for them to put the cover onto that headrest. Try a little harder next time.
Seat covers are fabulous. Only thing that I didn't like is the covering of the handbrake handle. I think it will look better with the black handle only and with the leather cover behind covering the stick (which is already done).

Congrats achinthg,

Leather looks very gorgeous.
What is the color and cost?
As said by firstguri,Brake Handle and Gear Lever leather should be in black color.
which definitely gives an appeal.

The leather is 1.5mm Scandinavian leather. Color is beige. The color looks darker in the showroom but looks great once inside the car. It is the same color which SunilRJ also has. As for gear lever and handbrake I liked what I saw in SunilRJ's car and asked them to do it the same. If you want it in black I am sure Karlsson can do it. The cost is Rs.28000/- all inclusive.

Great job Achinth. Are the seats less 'cushiony' after the mod? Does it come 'less' in the way of the seat lever?

Fabulous, Achinthg. Kaarlsson is giving tough competition to stanleys, in fact bettering it.

Did you try to ask them if they could do those stiches in verticle lines instead of horizontal lines across the seats? I guess, in Linea OEM seats its done vertically. You can check FastLove thread

wow i think kaarlsson is a better VFM than stanleys. Perfect stiching, very good leather quality. Looks cool..

It is actually fine. I pulled harder and it came up. I was afraid to pull it hard thinking it might be fixed as it could block the rear view.

Yes, it is a bit harder than the fabric but I am told it will become soft with use. I have not tested its affect on the seat lever. Will let you know soon.

Yes, they can do it vertical as well. They have other options also. My wife wanted it horizontal so went for it. I only decided the car I wanted to buy. Color and style were all decided by my better half.

Stitching and fit looks even better when you actually touch and feel it.

The rattling begins !!!

Tonight I heard the first rattling sound . Since I was driving alone I could not figure out the source. After reaching home I tried to find any loose parts but could not find any. Tomorrow I will ask my wife to sit in the back and observe where the sound is coming from.

rattling is probably due to the seat-cover installation.
They remove the seats and all, right?

Well this is inevitable for a MJD Linea ,
Check seat belt hooks
Chek the Sun visor on rear windshield
Chek the real parcel tray.

How is the sound? If its kinda "kichuk, kichuk", it could be because seat covers will be settling down.

When seat covers were installed in my Linea, for a week that kichuk kichuk sound came. 1st 2 days I was worried but then thought it'll go away when the covers settle itself & sure it went away.
