Looking at the pricing I assume it is going to be competing against the Linea and the Swift DDIS , if Ikon is considered competition in this market , the Ikon as well.

one question - how is the "under thigh support" from the front and rear seats?

Nice Review.

Pics are awaited. Detailed review in true T-BHP style is still awaited. Now that it is launched, I will wait a while till this product settles. I had almost finalised Fiesta TDCi SXi yesterday after a long TD. The wait is worth every day I think.

The car looks pretty good IMHO. Linea better watch out! This car has the same engine, many of the same features and more space at the rear (Linea's 1 major shortcoming) at Rs. 170,000 less. Does any one feel it looks a little like the Toyota Solara from the front?!

A good initial first impression.

The main concern for me is the torque at lower speeds and its ability to glide over potholes and rough surfaces.

Brilliant pricing... at 4.8 lakhs for the base petrol with essentials like music system, power steering, power windows its staggering value for money!

What a boooot

Guys, what do you think of this boot? Looks more like a cave - the way it narrows down.. where on earth did they get all the space??

Good initial report. Great pricing from Tata. To me, this is the car to buy amongst the Midsize diesel cars currently sold, if one isnt fussy about looks.

I dont see any new midsize diesel cars being launched, maybe the current ones will slash prices or upgrade their engines. So, Manza seems to be best buy for now.

To the Manza's credit, 3rd gear would be a better choice at 50 kph than 5th.

Had been waiting for this the whole day long

Looks a very well packaged value offering. Look forward to GTO's detailed review.

I personally think that those who believe that Dzire will not be hurt could be wrong. Ofcourse, Fiesta, Verna and Linea will also be affected.

Tell me that. When it comes to Space, it has to be TATA.

Umm, Seems we should give somemore time for TATA. Its not that they are unqualified. But I believe it to be a compromise on cost.

Good work tata. We need this kind of cars

Edit: How did I miss a hats-off to TATA for the pricing. Great package.
