He has Sports O (optional). It costs for 15k less than Sports and comes without Alloys. Other features are same.

Hey Selva congrats on a lovely ride and wish you many more happy miles.

I just had a query regarding the BSIV I20. Had heard/read somewhere that the CRDI now don't offer "ALL ROUND" Disc Brakes. Is this true since the BSIII version Magna CRDI offered ABS with AR Disc Brakes as standard. Does your "Lucky" have this ?

I 20 diesel-only asta comes with ABS and rear disc brakes. all other diesel variants (era, magna and sportz) come with rear drums and without ABS.

@Classicselva - Thank you for posting the pics. The door anti-scratch look classic ! - they go very well with the silver color of your car. I'm still waiting for any word on my i20 (dealer still has no updates) - but I'll try to get these fitted as well.

Cheers !

A friend of mine owns a i20 CRDI Sportz. He recently took it for a 1st service. While collecting the car he was asked by the SA to bring it in at 5k ms for the next service. When he mentioned that the manual indicates a 10k service interval (for the second service as well) the SA remarked that the book was written for both diesel and petrol.

An interesting thing is that I was told the same when I took in my Swift VDi for service. But it stopped after a couple of consistent 10k service intervals.

My take on the above incident is that the service center just wants to make a quick buck. What are your thoughts?

Drive on,
Shibu.

I was asked to come at 10K for second service. I insisted for oil change with the SA in the first service, but not done, as i assume that changing the oil bit early would take out the initial scraps out.
so second service was suggested at 10K or 6 months.

Rheostat Illumination Control Installed

ODO: 1834
Last Full tank mileage: 16.6 KmPL with 100% AC in Chennai (Most on OMR)

There was lot of scratch noise on the left rear, when driving over uneven surface (Not if both tyres are running parallel ups and downs). Checked on that yesterday and ASA said, it is fixed by lubricating. Took the car yesterday night.. will post how it goes.

Also fixed the RHEOSTAT ASSY-ILLUM CONTROL (Part# 949501J0009P).
Costs 460.47 + Tax 57.56 + Labour = 568

Thanks to Wildon !

Apparently Hyundai is not selling the Sportz (O) anymore. This is without alloys. I've heard this from Asset Hyundai and HMP in Mumbai.

What's this for?
To prevent the door from accidental scratch against a wall when opened the door

kalpeshc - You are right. No more Sportz(O) available. One of my friend booked CRDi Sportz, as Sportz(O) is not available.
