Here are some photos from my side of Mt Faber and Underwater world.
Thanks to my friends SMY and KMS who are also found with me. Hope the photos are ok. Used Irfanview first time to compress all these photos.

KMS with a Renault Megan at Harbour front.

Great log, RJ!

I really feel like visiting Singapore now!
Hong kong is a close second (after seeing the dark knight)!

KMS. He's strong. I try to unseat him here. I lose.
They say " Selamat Datang " ::My Singapore and Malaysian séjour-7.jpg

With SMY. He has a calming effect on me, unlike KMS

First view of Harbor front towers from cable car leaving Mt. Faber. After a on the fly stop we proceed to Sentosa crossing the creek.

View of Mt Faber. The place where we left on the cable car. I'd say this is one place where greenery is maximum in Singapore.
They say " Selamat Datang " ::My Singapore and Malaysian séjour-11.jpg

First time I crossed a busy motorway at such a height in a Cable car!
They say " Selamat Datang " ::My Singapore and Malaysian séjour-12.jpg

View towards west from the cable car as we proceeded to Sentosa.
They say " Selamat Datang " ::My Singapore and Malaysian séjour-13.jpg

God knows what SMY said, to elicit this kind of an expression in a candid photo!
They say " Selamat Datang " ::My Singapore and Malaysian séjour-15.jpg

Approaching the harbor front towers where people get in and out of the cable car. This comes smack in between Mt. Faber and Sentosa.
They say " Selamat Datang " ::My Singapore and Malaysian séjour-18.jpg

The bigger cruis ships which sail out in to high seas on long voyages! Star cruises is one such attraction.
They say " Selamat Datang " ::My Singapore and Malaysian séjour-16.jpg

Those speed boats you see below used to ply between Singapore and Indonesia (islands like Batam, Bintan etc).
They say " Selamat Datang " ::My Singapore and Malaysian séjour-20.jpg

The cable car was a great attraction. You get a birds eye view and you move across "forests", roads, towers, creek and enter sentosa. Luckily we had less showers that day and managed to get some decent views and photos!

The Malaysian Leg

Another budget airlines and am in for another cramped 45 mins flight. Am sure that wifey is gonna be complaining once we land at KL. Am all set to hear what ever she has to say and we board the flight.

In about 10 mins time both of us burst out laughing, reason being the Flight Attendant. She makes an announcement saying " Ladies and Gentsmen Welcome aboard Air Asia and we wish you a wonderful journey "

They say " Selamat Datang " ::My Singapore and Malaysian séjour-1-large.jpg

They say " Selamat Datang " ::My Singapore and Malaysian séjour-2-large.jpg

She now does this a few times by the time we reach KL and we have a happy exit from our 45 mins flight.

We only carry one checkin bag since we are here for shopping. Immigration and baggage collection done , I pick up tickets for 8 Ringgits each for the bus to KL Sentral. Oh yeah in Malaysia they use "S" instead of "C" .

You can take the Aero Bus or the Sky Bus and at 8 Ringgit its pure economy travel. The bus that we used was really clean with some excellent seat covers. The drive starts off to KL Sentral and it takes us close to an hour or so to get there.

At KL Sentral we take the pre-paid taxi to reach our hotel Grand Millennium (Kuala Lumpur Hotel | Official Site Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur) located in Jalan Bukit Bintang.
The taxi costs us about 13 Ringgit and we have a quick chat with the taxi driver Mr.Becker. Mr.Becker's dad is Punjabi and mom is a Malaysian, its a 15 min drive to the hotel and he offers us his visiting card and tells us if we wish to we cud use his services for sight seeing in Malaysia.

He comes thru to us as a good man. Being in a foreign land I sure wanted to explore my options when it came to sight seeing and taxi's. He drops us off at the hotel, we thank him and are welcomed by the hotel staff.

Its almost 3pm now and we head out for lunch. Find a KFC at the corner of the road and trust me its the worst KFC I have ever been to. The food was yukk and not worth a penny. With no choice we finish up with KFC and head to our hotel.

Malaysia is pretty hot and this morning when we left Singapore it was raining cats and dogs.

I catch up with a quick nap and decide that we go out only by 6pm since the heat is unbearable. 6pm and we are off exploring the streets around the hotel and the Petronas towers.

Our 1st glimpse of the KL Tower( Menara KL ).

They say " Selamat Datang " ::My Singapore and Malaysian séjour-3-large.jpg

Ask wifey if she is interested in taking a trip there and the answer was lets not waste time. I wanna see the Petronas Towers.

They say " Selamat Datang " ::My Singapore and Malaysian séjour-4-large.jpg

Just get a few shots and we reach the famous Petronas. It was a sight to behold at that hour.

We enter the Suria KLCC mall and spend quite a good amount of time there.
For the first time I see a Ferrari pulling in and looks like the dude was there to pick up his girl friend. By the time I pull out my camera he is gone.

They say " Selamat Datang " ::My Singapore and Malaysian séjour-8-large.jpg

That's Grand Mellinnium.

They say " Selamat Datang " ::My Singapore and Malaysian séjour-10-large.jpg

They say " Selamat Datang " ::My Singapore and Malaysian séjour-13-large.jpg

By now its already 9pm and we walk into a roadside restaurant and have our dinner. Everyone is screening the football matches and most restaurants are pretty full.

They say " Selamat Datang " ::My Singapore and Malaysian séjour-11-large.jpg

They say " Selamat Datang " ::My Singapore and Malaysian séjour-12-large.jpg .

Its been a long day and we did quite a bit of walking today. Am all tired and have so is my better half we crash by about 1am.

Please don't miss Aloha Cafe and Rum Jungle if you wanna experience Malaysian style of pubbing .So be there and check out the place.Obviously cant add pictures here for known reasons.

errr which pic of mine did I post ? In Malaysia I was feeling at home , yeah right like in India. Absolute mayhem at the signals and two wheelers on the footpath.

One fella even thanked me when I gave him way to go over the footpath.

ajmat we wanted to grab a quick bite and found KFC right at the corner of the road while taking a stroll in Jalan Bukit Bintang. Wifey was real tired and insisted on not trying street food for lunch at-least.
Why wouldn't one visit Jalan Ramlee ? For once my better half dint stop me eyes from wandering . Ibiza and Aloha are the best places to hang out.

As long as Lee Kwan Yew is there, Singapore laws will exist. The current prime minister is incidentally his son. S R Nathan is the current president (the previous president too). Sellappan Ramanathan is of Indian origin and his mode fo election to presidency is something we'd love in India for our netas as well. But sadly that will never happen.

Riju. I should thank you for permitting to upload some of my photos in your impressive log! I had great fun living in Singapore with 6 trips to Malaysia and few to Indonesia while up (down) there! And I could go through those old photos and also reminisce nostalgia.
