Very much. A-drives indeed.

The 3600 saved on the MXV8 go in for the 5th Yoko (was planning for a 2nd hand one earlier) since I am buying 5 Samurai alloys.

go for the YOKO's :)

Changed my vxi tyres which were 195/55/15 goodyear nct3 to 195/60/15 Michelin MXV8. The difference is great, the ride is very comfortable and roadgrip seems to be undettered. I vouch for 195/60/15 Michelin MXV8s as a safe upgrade to any other size. Did try 205/55/15 Yokohama S drive but then the ride was being compromised like my previous set. TBHP forum was very instrumental on my selection. Did pay 18k for a set of 4

Guys getting delivery of swift Zxi on Monday. Just a Q! Are the stock tyres (185/70/14) any good?

Just found out. They are bad! Am looking at A-drives, either 185/70R14 or 195/65/R14.
Which one's would you guys advise?

Since you want to upgrade, I'd rather suggest 195 profiles. I guess you wanna keep the stock alloys.

But rest assured 195 will give you better grip than 185 :)

195/65/14 it is. Just got them installed. Whats the reccommended tyre pressure for them? Filled 30psi at the moment.

Guys I Upgraded my Stock tires on Swift VDi to 185/60/14 Continentals (Made in France) few days back. So far have driven 60 odd kms and can definitely feel the difference in ride and cornering :thumbs up Am going for an out station drive tomorrow should get complete feel of the new tires. I don't think anyone else have tried continentals on a Swift on this forum. Correct me if Wrong.

I will soon replace the stock Rims with alloys. Looking out for some nice buy or even used.

Recommended psi for ZXi is 29. VXi and LXi have different values.

Which tyre did you buy ?

A-drives 195/65/14. What is the reccommended pressure on this one?

Taz - Are you sure it was 185/60 & not 185/70? Because 185/60 is a completely incorrect upsize.

Right! 185/70/R14 is the stock size for the Swift.
