For stock rims, get the ZXi 's stock size - 185/70/R14

and if i were to upgrade my rims how much would that cost.
not upgrade to alloys but just regular rims. any idea.

ZXI comes only with Alloys. You may not find Steel rims of larger width.

I dont think wider steel rims are available. Like Nitrous has suggested you can go with 185/70-14 tyres.

Guys need some urgent help

Whats the stock size of tyres on Swift Vdi and Swift Dzire Vdi ?

And what will be the perfect upsize ?

And what are the choices available for upsized tyres and some nice alloys.

thanks in advance

Stock size is 165/80-14

Recommended upsizes are:

14 inches:
185/70-14
195/65-14
205/65-14

15 inches:
195/60-15
205/60-15

16 inches:
195/55-16
205/55-16

17 inches:
205/45-17
215/45-17
225/40-17

Perfect size to upgrade would be 195/60-15 (if going in for 15", which I think you should, if you want alloys. Unless you planning on 16 or 17)
I have the same size in Yoko A-Drive. You can check my garage for the pictures.

thanks a lot sumit

i would want not to compromise on ride quality and handling.

so now suggest the perfect upsize please.

these 2 cars swift/swift dzire will be driven in countryside too occasionally.

What size rims are you looking to upsize to? 15, 16 or 17?

I recommend 15 and sticking with 195/60-R15.

I agree with vikram.
If you want to go in for 15 inches (which would not affect ride quality and handling) go in for 195/60-R15.
If you want to go in for alloys, anything below 15" is crime.

Thats the best upsize. Tyres wont bluge out and will give you great handelling and ride quality..

thats what i needed,

thanks a lot Sumit,Vikram.

EDIT : forgot to ask what tyre brands/alloys will you guys recommend.

Read through the thread and also the "Show off your alloys" one.

The various alloy brands are :
Imported Budget brands -Lenso, League, HR, Plati etc
Imported Premium brands - Borbet, OZ etc.
Indian brands - Aura, Neo, Apollo Acelere

And if you are planning to go for 195/60/R15, the various options are

Michelin MXV8, Yokohama A-Drives, Yokohama ES100, Bridgestone Turanza, BFG Sport etc.

I have Lenso Samurais + Yokohama A-Drives 195/60/R15. I guess this is the best upgrade for the Swift - Looks good and comfort oriented too.

Sumit, I think it should be 205/55 for 15" and 205/50 for 16".

Sumit, I think it should be 205/55 for 15" and 205/50 for 16".

205/60-R15 Difference - 1.19%
205/55-R15 Differnce - 2.11%

205/50-R16 Differnce - 1.32%
205/55-R16 Difference - 1.99%

You are right about 16 inchers. 205/50 is correct in 16".
105/60 is correct size in 15 inchers.
