Looking good there Naman, I thought you were deciding between the OZ or AMG replicas.

I also see the Fogs up and running how do they perform?

OT: Are you back from your Amritsar trip?

When I bought my tyres in June end, they had this promo offer. Looks like it ended in July or Aug... Never mind, you bought good tyres and for a good price :-) Enjoy your ride. Please "wear-in" your new tyres over a 800-1000km - i.e. no hard braking, sudden accelerations and very high speeds. I did 1.5k before my long trip to Kudremukh

Dear singhharry,

I don't have very good pictures of my Fiat , but am posting whatever shots I have. I will try and get a better 'photo shoot' done and post the pictures for the forum.

have a look @ my alloys

got these from LAL tyres on Dec 2007 for ~15K

Problems :
-dirt turning to rust around the nuts
-the second set of nuts catching up rust very badly(the first set got changed from LAL for free within one month)
-dirty stains on the alloys though my watchmen cleans the car everyday

guys please help me to get good quality chrome nuts in Chennai.
and is there any cleaning liquid specially for alloys to remove stains ??

Atleast you didnt pay OZ pricing for the rims.

Your rims can be made to look as new with some good detailing products.

Replace the lug nuts with good quality ones even those will collect some amount of rust but it is the rust from the brake calipers that accumulate here.

The white marks are hard water stains.Get a good alloy rim cleaner.Or use soft water while washing the car. This WILL help in the long run preventing paint deterioration etc.

Pick up higher quality lug-nuts OR have your existing ones painted to a colour of your choice.

Hey,

Made last moment decision to go for the ones I currently have. They looked sleek.

OT : Fogs are installed but they aren't good. Had discussion with Driven. He suggested to go for Lumax. Anyways will do that later. Also, I haven't yet been able to get original fit switch. Right now some generic switch fitted.

Amritsar trip done. Unfortunately, bad weather ruined it, however, the drive made up for everything. Have to post in car review section now

Hey ishan,

Hmmm, the PP's are awesome. The grip and handling are simply amazing. Also, they have made the braking quite decent (which Getz lacks). Also, got a chance to try them on wet roads in the last couple of days. Felt confident doing 80-90 on curves. They are pretty fine on road noise and comfort as well. Already tried them at 170 kph and there seemed to be no problem at all.
