Hey.
I'd go for the black Momos. There is nothing to worry about, I have a friend who has black Momos on his Merc. They look stunning and the quality is amazing too. Just be sure that the wheels are genuine. Markets are flooded with fakes.

Cheers,
Luv.

Try and snag the Rapid's gloss black wheel with the discreet white piping on the lip. I've seen one of the special-editions wear it, and I think it looks fantastic!

Cheers,

Luv.

Thanks for the reassurance! I surely feel these MOMOS are better looking than the skoda original black ones. Will surely swap them sometime in the next 10 days.

Hey thanks for the suggestion. Mine is a cappuccino beige, so may be red will look better with black alloys. Any idea how to get this red lip done?

Great set of wheels devilwearsprada. The ride is looking very clean except the LED lamps (Auxiliary lights or whatever they're called). I first thought the bumper was cracked and badly repaired, but it seems those lights are a hard fit between the two plastic pieces of the bumper (lower airdam). Why not cut some part of the upper/lower lip (of the air dam) to give a smoother look.

Well, thank you so much for the kind words.
I am looking for somebody to fit them better.
As of now the lights are a great help on low beam.
Here's another picture of the front wide stance!

re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

Hi all,
I have upgraded my Duster with R15 Alloys and 215/75 R15 Conti crosscontact ATs and these are the results. Duster OE comes with R16 rims. The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!-wp_20151014_07_07_01_pro.jpg

Its nice, liked the stance and look.

Any particular reason why you got R15? R16 would have been a better choice right.. . Since most of these vehicle have been already preprogrammed you might have marginal difference in the Speedo reading and L'l bit of mileage drop, just a guess!

Did the ride height reduce?

I regularly go to my estate inside kanyakumari wildlife sanctuary where roads are non existent and hence ATs are a prerequisite. All R16 ATs from good tyre companies are upward of Rs.8500/-, whereas there are endless options for R15 ATs starting from Rs.4900/- . Since I also needed a marginal increase in GC for these Off roading excursions to my estate, I figured that 215/75 R15 ATs will suit my requirements. R15 alloys cost me Rs.20000/- and R15 conti crosscontacts cost me Rs.6650/-. For an increase of Rs12000/- over OE tyres I got alloys and really butch looking tyres

I figured out cost effectiveness would the reason. But the compromise in the ride height might be something you will be worrying about the estate roads. All 3 of my 4x4 still manage to scrape something if we just take it light in our estates.

Looked at the other picture in another thread, looks like the ride height increased.

Looking nice with the new shoes. Enjoy the ride
