| ![]() If this isn't exceptional, I don't know what else is! 1,40,000km on ANY set of tyres is a matter for the record books. Please post a few pictures of the tyres. And, notwithstanding your confidence in their strength, please do think of retiring them soon ![]() |

| ![]() I do mixed of city and highway drives. Stock JK Tyre on the swift ldi did roughly 60k. The treads were still good but one Tyre lost shape (twisted a bit) else would last another 10k. Bad behavior during hard brakes made me upgrade to Bridgestone AR 20. Ride has improved and so is the breaking confidence. Almost 60k on this one too and should go another 10 easily. |

Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() It is exceptionally unwise. You are well out of the safe life of your tyres both by mileage and age (tyres tend to crack after 4 years of use). If you value your life and that of your co-passengers/others sharing the road, please change your tyres today. Last edited by Gannu_1 : 5th June 2017 at 08:53. | ![]() Bridgestone. I believe the subsequent models did not come with Bridgestone as stock tyres and came with JK or the like. Yes, that's correct. My bad. Last edited by jbpanda : 5th June 2017 at 12:05. |

![]() As others said, it is definitely not normal. Normal tread life is around 40-60K kms for most users. It would be great if you could post pics of the tyres.

| ![]() Tyres - Yokohama C Drive Lasted for - 55,000 kms Number of years - 3.5 years The C Drives were excellent tyres. They struck the sweet spot between longevity, comfort and grip, especially wet grip. The grip was very good until 40,000 kms beyond which the tyres started to show its age. During the last 5,000 kms, the tyres didnt have much grip in dry but wet grip was still very good. Pity they do not make them anymore. Would have loved to swap on another set of C Drives if they were available. Shifted to Conti Comfort Contact 5 |

1. They are fairly silent. I can now here the engine note clearly as the ER60 would drown the engine sound while they rolled. 2. Wet grip is good though I have not pushed the car in the rainy season I did not find the tires causing any issue. 3.I have noticed the T001 to kick in the ABS more often than the ER60 did. I believe since the ER60 were larger they stopped quicker. 4.They don't look as fancy as the ER60. In almost 7 months that I have used the T001 they have punctured once due to a big nail but the tire held its ground well. All in all touch wood I am satisfied with the purchase.

| ![]() I have Bridgestone Duelers which came as stock tyres on My Safari. Its been 5 years and I have done 105000 kms till date. Have religiously followed balancing/alignment and have rotated all 5 tyres. There's still some life left in them but I am planning on changing them in a couple of months and going in for Duelers again. Thanks, Ajit |
