| Re: Classic Cars available for purchase Oh wow, wished I'd discovered this thread earlier, I stalk OLX all the time for cool cars! Here are a few of the recent finds. 1. Volvo S60 T5 - cool because this one has 200+ bhp if I'm not wrong. The old ones are very well built and Rs 5L for such a car is quite a bargain I feel.  2. Vanden Plas (Jaguar) XJ V8 - 4.4L of British sports sedan. Asking price of Rs 28L is QUITE hefty considering that these aren't very reliable (prone to electrical gremlins) but still, very very rare.  3. 1996 W140 Mercedes-Benz S500 - Uber cool. Been lusting for the V12 version, I've seen that on OLX and on T-BHP here as well. Rs 9.75L is a bit on the higher side but not too bad. There's a fan following for these abroad and cars I see there have often done in excess of 200k km, some have done double.  4. 1995 BMW E34 525 tds - Turbocharged and intercooled version. Really nice looking car.  5. 1980 Mercedes Benz W123 300TD - W123s aren't hard to find on OLX but this is one super rare given it's the turbocharged 3000cc version with the OM617/A engine. LHD is a buzz killer but hey, something's gotta give. This is the only one I've seen on OLX (and I've been a lurker for 2-3 years now.)  Apart from these, the most interesting cars that I lust after are the early 2000s and late 90's Lexus cars, the LS 400 and LS 430 models were built like tanks and last forever with not much maintenance. LS 460 models are quite expensive. I've also spied a few GS300 for sale, two of which came with the famous 2JZ-GTE engine that the Supra had. |
