No offense, but tbhp meets are way more fun, whether one comes in mercs or a local train

I am sure that the points will be taken into consideration when planning events in future. This was the first time that there were so many participants with cars, in the past the numbers were smaller. So some degree of being over whelmed did happen. I am sure that suggestions and criticisms will help to improve. For me the good part was that the food was good, the company enjoyable, and no car broke down.

I would strongly suggest that those present introduce each other, the organisers should make that a part of the program. I knew a lot of people and got around, but I did not know Vikram, that he was present and so we could not get to know each other and talk. Maybe others observed the same.

A suggestion here.

What the guys in charge should do. Mail the route to all participants in advance, ensure secure parking space, and for dinner, lunch or whatever, book a small private room so that everyone can relax and chat with fellow enthusiasts.

When Aniruddh can co ordinate with the group and seamlessly organize our long distance drives, the members of this club should be able to do the same? Next time , please collect payment in advance. Along with confirmation, cheques should be enclosed.

If my posts are easier to read, being split into paragraphs, Rehaan is to be thanked and given credit for teaching me.

This mornings DNA carried a small snippet about the club. The refrence was in particular to our annual motorcade which was held in February of 2013.

Recently I saw a W 115 being restored. This car was parked at the seashore and virtually split into two.
Now the body is in one piece, but there is still a long way to go. This project is different in the sense that someone would have got another car and replaced the body, here the original body is being rebuilt.
Flooring has been coated with fibreglass, helps against corrosion.

Its that time of the year again ie time for another "Mercedes Benz motorcade" organized jointly by the Mercedes Club Of India and Shaman Mercedes on Sunday the 9th of February 2014 . The motorcade will be flagged off by Mr Hormazd Sorabjee at 10:30AM from the Shaman Mercedes Showroom at Churchgate and wind its way through the city and reach the Shaman Mercedes Showroom at Kalina around 12:00 PM. sharp. The cars shall be on view there till 3PM.
This year around 60 cars of all ages and classes are expected to participate and the drive promises to be exciting.

It's was a huge event 50 cars or near abouts turned up and it was a spectacle of mercedes of all ages shapes and classes. Event was meticulously planned by mercedes Benz club of India and shaman mercedes. Let the pictures do the talking.

The cars were flagged off from the shaman showroom at churchgate by hormazd sorabjee editor of autocar
