| Distinguished - BHPian | Re: Central India Vintage Automotive Association (CIVAA) - News and Events We from Cent Ind Vintage Automotive Association (CIVAA) did a 84+84 km run with our old cars and two wheelers from Nagpur to Mogarkhasa, off NH 44, towards North, on Sunday the 01/09/2019. The wonderful host was our Member Mr Shiraz Doongaji, at his exquisite farmhouse off NH 44. Needless to say, none of the old beauties faltered during the 168 km run, the oldest being a 1940's Ford jeep of WW II Vintage and the second oldest being a 1951 Ford Consul.                               |

| Distinguished - BHPian | Re: Central India Vintage Automotive Association (CIVAA) - News and Events Today morning, CIVAA organised a short 30+30 kms run on the NH 69 connecting Nagpur to Bhopal. We started at around 8.30 am from Nagpur with the cars and two wheelers. After reaching beyond Patansaongi, on the NH 69, it was time to return back. Since this was the first run after December 2020, a short run was decided upon. We were all back by 10.30-10.45 am, had our brunch at a restaurant and then parted company. It was a static display featuring the gorgeous to the practical modes of transport. A few pictures are shared with more and more to come soon.     |

| Distinguished - BHPian | Re: Central India Vintage Automotive Association (CIVAA) - News and Events Guiness Book of Record holder Mr Iqbal Ahmed below displaying the working model of the first motor car Motorwagen by Mr Gottlieb Daimler (1886), another working model of the earliest Ford and replica of a Rolls Royce radiator at the CIVAA event      A 1966 Morris Oxford Series VI - the remarkable fact was that the car's first owner Dr V.S.Gowardhan, a surgeon appeared with his Mrs and grandchildren on 5.12.2021 during the display and posed alongside his once proud possession. The car is with another owner now.        |
