Do we know the Chassis number for the Rolls Royce PB 10 CH 7272 ? I am assuming it is a 25/30 HP ?

Also is the chassis number for the Bentley Mk VI known ?

The Rolls is a 1935 Phantom III

The Bentley Mark IV is from 1948

It will take some time to get the chassis nos. I will try.

More pictures from today's event. Some pictures were taken enroute, while the last batch of pictures are at the destination point at the SDPL Developers site in Dabha, West Nagpur. The total distance covered by the cars was 36 kms, traversing through the Central, West, South, North then again West Nagpur and back :

Dear Anjanji - thanks for your reply, please do let me know the winter event schedule well in advance. Depending on work schedule and availability of leave, I would definitely like to attend. The advantage of Nagpur is that it is a straightforward drive and the distance is also not too short, neither too long. 800 kms is very much doable in one full day.

Tributes to Shri Behram Dabhar ahead of his first death anniversary. He had indicated his willingness to drive down to Nagpur to participate in one of our CIVAA run's during the winter of 2017-18.

The inevitable happened and sadly that was not to be ! He passed away on 10/08/2016.

CIVAA successfully organised a 112 kms two wheeler run today . More than 20 two wheelers participated. CIVAA joined hands with the Yamaha RD 350 Enthusiasts from Nagpur, who also participated. The route covered was from Nagpur on the Nagpur-Bhopal highway upto Saoner, and then the connector road via Parsheoni - Mansar and back via Kanhan, Kamptee on the Jabalpur-Nagpur NH 7 (full stretch Varanasi/Allahabad - Kanyakumari).
The Bhopal highway drive was flawless as the road is excellent . The connector road (or no road) is being rebuilt in several stretches and is in a pitiable condition. The NH 7 Mansar to Kanhan and Kanhan to Nagpur also has several breaches and is being four laned in several left over stretches.
All the two wheelers endured the roads and no roads too. Twas a very enjoyable drive and every participant enjoyed the RUN. Our last halt was at the MHKS Plaza in Kanhan.

Good to see more people developing interest in these scooters! Nothing like the Lambretta!
However, shouldn't the rearview mirror on the scooter be on the RIGHT side of the handlebar (since overtaking is legally done along the right side of the road while we drive on the left- though I know tis not always done in India!) rather than the left?

I guess you mean the maroon RR Phantom from the 1930's. Yes, it is a new addition to the CIVAA fleet since about two and a half years.

The Cent Ind Vintage Automotive Association (CIVAA) ( we were around 13 in three cars) did an early morning, 100 plus km run today with our old beauties. A Bentley Mark 6, a Jonga and my Landmaster participated in the 100 plus km run. The route was along NH 47 connecting Nagpur with Bhopal. We touched Saoner and went beyond before returning. The entire stretch we covered is four lane and apart from the intermittent diversions , the road is blemish-free. The peak temperatures are hovering around 45 deg Celsius. We were back by 10.45 am though and had made a breakfast halt.
The original BMC side valve petrol engine powers my Landmaster and it cruised at a constant 50-60 kmph on the NH flawlessly. A grand tribute to the 63 year old machine and to the marvels of British engineering and technology.
