I'm going against popular opinion and booking XUV 700 today.

1. It's Family Choice (read with font size 70)
2. In the segment it's VFM, due to the discount I'm getting it in my budget under 20L
3. Harrier and Safari are amazing but out of the budget.
4. Scorpio N doesn't give that luxury feeling.
5. Never checked or even thought about Hector.
6. Getting all the bells and whistles in my budget.
7. Travel due to work is completely stopped so it will be used only for trips.
8. One last diesel vehicle of life before Nitin Uncle Bann it.
9. More square feet and more CC at a good price

Only issue, its not RWD.

This is the sweetest little car I have driven, so much character in that efficient package. Pure Retro vibes. Was seriously considering the Thar P MT 4x4 and almost booked it, but just out of sheer curiosity rang up the nearest Nexa dealer on a lazy Sunday and they turned up with the test drive car in 30 minutes. A long 10km drive in the Jimny swayed my decision and ended up with me booking the car the same day. Cannot wait to go on adventures on and off the beaten path with the Jimny. Pure heart decision this.

I had a TD of Jimny, liked what I experienced and now in the process of extracting a better deal from the dealer. I haven't paid the booking amount yet.

I am looking for Zeta Automatic and the discount offered is Rs 80,000 and Maruti Finance discount of Rs 95,000. Total discount is Rs 1,75,000 (with finance). This present discount is about half of July month discount of around Rs 3.4 Lakh (many got 4 Lakh discount in July month).

I have been holding firm to get a discount equivalent to the July month discount or somewhere thereabouts. The dealer hasn't blinked and so have I. We both are holding off till say, December month year end discount sales which is when both hope to get the best possible deal on the car.

If you don't mind, could you please tell us how much discount you were able to get for your Zeta MT? I am trying to understand the present demand supply situation here and if I should cut some slack and take whatever is offered. Thanks
