All-electric Mini Cooper SE pre-bookings open

Mini has started accepting pre-bookings for the all-electric Mini Cooper SE in India. The car can be booked online by paying a token amount of Rs. 1 lakh.

The Mini Cooper SE is based on the 2-door Mini hatchback. The electric version gets yellow accents on the grille and ORVMs. The car rides on 17-inch corona spoke alloy wheels.

On the inside, the car is equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, heads-up display, heated steering wheel and a Harman Kardon audio system.

The Mini Cooper Electric uses an electric motor that has an output of 184 BHP and 270 Nm. It is powered by a 32.6 kWh battery pack that is said to offer a range of 203-234 km on a single charge (WLTP cycle). The electric hatchback can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 7.3 seconds and has a top speed of around 150 km/h.

The Mini Cooper SE is available in four colour options - White Silver, Midnight Black, Moonwalk Grey and British Racing Green.
