Checked out the Aprilia RS 457: Details on booking & test rides

I have already booked the bike, went to decide the colour on mine.

Checked out the display motorcycle in person at Nexus Mall, Koramangala this evening. As others in the forum already stated, it was attracting quite a lot of shoppers at the mall. A wildlife travel company had also put up a stall opposite Aprilia's pop-up space, with a few sample photographs of big cats and other majestic wild animals. I stayed there for about half an hour admiring both the beauties

My primary purpose for today's visit was to decide on the colour. I had booked for racing stripes, possibly thinking that I could become Valentino Rossi with those aggressive-looking stickers. But somehow I wasn't very impressed with that colour in person. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the Prismatic Dark (purple) shade looks! Invariably this is a mat finish. Opalescent Light (white) was not on display - this must be the only glossy finish among the 3 colour options.

Ergonomics felt super comfortable, the tank is large enough to grip your knees.

Also, got to know that Aprilia would sell from two outlets in Bangalore. One in Marathahalli (Avant Motoplex) and another in Banashankari III stage (near BDA complex). I had booked from Avant, but BSK is close by to my place. The person at the counter said it's possible to change the showroom (not sure if it is possible only within the city) and also the colour.

The test ride would start from 10th March is what I was told.
