DIY fork reflector replacement in my Royal Enfield Bullet 350

I could not find any leads and had given up, when an eBay listing suddenly popped up from a NOS parts dealer.

BHPian Viju recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

While I was doing the fork reflector replacement as mentioned in the last post, I was searching around a set of NOS reflectors and brackets that RE used to fix on their export bikes to US back in the 90's and early 2000's. I could not find any leads and had given up, when an eBay listing suddenly popped up from a NOS parts dealer.

It was for a set of reflectors and brackets from 15 - 20 years ago. They were clearly OE RE spares, but without the packing. He had picked up a big inventory of parts from an RE dealer in the US who had shut shop several years ago, and these were from that lot.

I will let the pictures speak for themselves. But this is finally the end of my reflector story. The small single reflector for the backside is from Hitchcocks. It did not fit the number plate due to the shape of the number plate bracket. So I kept it aside in the parts bin.

I am happy with the cleaner appearance of the front fork outer tubes, and the fact that I can polish them without the reflectors coming in the way. I know I have OCD, but there is nothing I can do about it.
