Force Gurkha 5-door teased ahead of launch

The Force Gurkha 5-door will compete with the upcoming Mahindra Thar 5-door.

Force Motors has released a teaser of the Gurkha 5-door. Reports suggest that the SUV is likely to go on sale by mid-2024.

The teaser image provides a glimpse of the upcoming Gurkha 5-door. It shows the side profile of the SUV finished in a Metallic Green exterior colour. The SUV can also be seen equipped with a snorkel, a roof rack, alloy wheels and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel.

Besides the longer wheelbase, the Gurkha 5-door is also expected to get a few cosmetic tweaks. Spy images have revealed a redesigned grille and square headlamps.

While the interior is likely to be similar to the Gurkha 3-door, it could get a few new features. The 5-door version could also offer three rows of seats with a bench seat in the second row.

Under the bonnet, the Gurkha 5-door is expected to get the same 2.6-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine. This unit puts out 91 BHP and 250 Nm and will be paired with a 4-wheel drive system.
