On Monday, the first shift even refused to work on the shop floor after more than 300 workers had reportedly tested positive and about 7-8 employees had lost their lives over the past few days.

Initially, Hyundai plans to temporarily suspend plant operations for a period of 5 days, between May 25 to May 29, 2021.
