KTM has launched its flagship streetfighter, the 1390 Super Duke R, in India. The bike is priced at Rs 22.96 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 1390 Super Duke R is one of the most aggressive-looking models in KTM’s range. It features an LED headlamp with boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, tank fairings, and a narrow tail section.
The 1390 Super Duke R is powered by a 1,350cc V-twin engine that produces 190 BHP and 145 Nm. The revised engine features a new camshaft, new throttle bodies, and a redesigned airbox. The bike weighs 200 kg, giving it an almost 1:1 power-to-weight ratio.
The Super Duke R is based on a tubular steel frame suspended by WP semi-active suspension with five settings. Braking is handled by twin discs at the front and a single disc at the rear, paired with Brembo Stylema calipers.
As far as features are concerned, the Super Duke R comes with a lean-sensitive traction control system, slide control, cruise control, riding modes, and cruise control, among others.
