Nissan GT-R India launch on December 2nd

Nissan India has officially confirmed that the GT-R will be launched in the country on December 2, 2016. We had earlier reported that the Japanese automaker has already started accepting bookings of the GT-R for an initial deposit of Rs. 25 lakh.

The GT-R coming to India will be the 2017 model year facelift. It was globally unveiled earlier this year at the New York Auto Show. Nissan had showcased the pre-facelift model in India at the Auto Expo in February this year, where the company officials announced that the facelifted version will be launched by the end of 2016.

Often addressed to as the Godzilla, the Nissan GT-R is considered as one of the fastest accelerating sportscars in the world. It is powered by a 3.8-litre V6 engine that churns out 562 BHP and 637 Nm of torque. Mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox, the GT-R boasts of a company claimed 0-100 km/h sprint time of under three seconds.
