Ola S1 e-scooter recalled over front fork arm issue

The appointment window for the recall will open on March 22, 2023.

Multiple Ola S1 Pro owners have voiced concerns over front fork failure ever since the electric scooter was launched in the Indian market. The company has been carrying out investigations on a case-by-case basis and has attributed these failures to “high-impact road accidents”.

In the wake of rising concerns amongst owners, Ola Electric has decided to announce a formal recall to upgrade the front fork design to enhance its durability and strength. Customers can now upgrade to the new front fork, which will be available free of cost.

Customers are requested to book an appointment at the nearest Ola Experience Centre or Service Centre before visiting. The appointment window will open on March 22, 2023.
