Porsche Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition launched in India

German carmaker, Porsche has launched the Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition in India at a price of Rs. 86.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and Rs. 84.93 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra).

To distinguish the Platinum Edition from the regular Cayenne diesel, Porsche has given it cosmetic changes. The SUV rides on 19-inch Cayenne Design II alloy wheels with coloured crests. Centre and side air intakes, side window trim, rear spoiler lip and lower tailgate trip are painted in platinum silver. While black and white are available as standard shades for the SUV, meteor grey metallic, jet black metallic and mahogany metallic are available as additional colour options. Offered specially for the Platinum edition is the Carrara white metallic shade.

The interior of the Platinum Edition gets a black and beige two-tone partial leather interior theme. The headrests of the car are embossed with the Porsche crests, while the floor mats and stainless steel front door entry guards with Platinum Edition script. Standard features of the new Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition model include sport design steering wheel with paddle shifters, power steering plus and the Porsche Communication Management (PCM), which incorporates a navigation module.

The Platinum Edition is powered by Porsche's 3.0-litre, V6, turbocharged diesel engine that delivers 245 hp @ 3800-4400 rpm.
