Renault launches Lodgy Stepway at Rs. 11.99 lakh

Renault has introduced the Stepway variant of the Lodgy in India. The vehicle is based on the RxZ trim level of the MPV and is available in two variants - 8-seater and 7-seater. While the former is priced at Rs. 11.99 lakh, the latter costs Rs. 12.29 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

The Stepway sits at the top of the Lodgy range. It features some cosmetic enhancements, which give it a more rugged look compared to the other variants. These enhancements include a grille with chrome detailing, reworked bumpers with front and rear silver skid plates, cladding on the wheel arches and doors, silver roof rails, anthracite-finish alloy wheels, chrome scuff plates and Stepway decals on the front doors.

The interiors of the Stepway are unchanged. It is gets all the equipment as the standard RxZ trim level. Features include a multi-function steering wheel, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with USB, Bluetooth and Aux-in connectivity, speed-sensitive volume control and navigation, 8-way adjustable driver's seat, second and third row air-conditioning, cruise control, ABS, EBD, airbags, rear parking sensors and a reversing camera among others.

The Stepway uses the same 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, K9K diesel engine that produces 108 BHP and 245 Nm of torque as the standard Lodgy. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
