Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus online sale on July 25

Online bookings for the Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus will reopen on July 25, 2018 at 4.00 PM on the Royal Enfield website. The online booking process initially opened on July 10 but was disrupted due to technical issues. Only 250 units of the bike will be available with each priced at Rs. 2.49 lakh (on-road Mumbai).

The Classic 500 Pegasus is based on the Classic 500 and is inspired by the RE/WD 125 Flying Flea motorcycle from World War II. The bike is painted in Service Brown and features the Pegasus logo, badges and a unique serial number on the fuel tank. It comes with canvas panniers, leather straps and brass buckles. The engine, exhaust, wheels, handlebar and the headlamp bezel are finished in black. Each Classic 500 Pegasus will be offered with a helmet and t-shirt from the Pegasus collection.

The bike is powered by a 499 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 27.2 BHP @ 5,250 rpm and 41.3 Nm @ 4,000 rpm and comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Braking is handled by 280 mm and 240 mm discs at the front and rear respectively.
