Rumour: BMW to launch 1-Series facelift in India this month

BMW, is gearing up to launch the facelifted 1-Series facelift in India this month. Like the current model, the 1-Series facelift will be available as a 118d. It will be available in the Sport Line trim level and will be equipped with LED headlights. Features such as a multifunction sport steering wheel, start / stop button, automatic air-conditioning, rain sensor, iDrive operating system with a 6.5-inch display are expected to be available a well.

The facelifted 1-Series was unveiled earlier this year. It gets redesigned headlight, flatter kidney grille, restyled front bumper, redesigned wraparound L-shaped tail lamps and a new hatch.

The 118d will be powered by a 1,995 cc, 4-cylinder, TwinPower turbo diesel engine that is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

BMW is expected to price the facelifted 118d at Rs. 27-29 lakh.
